HOW TO ADJUST THE SIMULATION RANGE & LEVELS FOR MY DOG ON THE SPORTDOG® TEK 2.0

It is critical for proper training to use the correct level of stimulation for your dog. For detail information, go to our articleUnknown block type "link", specify a component for it in the `components.types` prop.

SET THE STIMULATION RANGE

Press the right-side button on the handheld until the home screen appears.

Use the arrow pad to highlight “MY DOGS”, then use the Enter button in the center of the arrow pad to select.

Arrow down to the dog you would like to adjust the stimulation range for, then press Enter.

Arrow down to Stim Range and press Enter until the range you want displays to the right.

Stimulation ranges are set individually for each dog. If you are adjusting the range for multiple dogs, you must adjust the setting for each.

SET THE LEVEL OF STIMULATION

Press the right-side button on the handheld until the training screen appears.

Arrow right or left, until the dog you are setting the stimulation level for appears.

Arrow up or down to adjust the stimulation level.

If you would like to adjust the stimulation level using the wheel, you will need to activate that option. To activate, press the menu button below the screen to the right and select intensity dial to turn ON.

Stimulation levels are set individually for each dog. If you are adjusting the level for multiple dogs, you must adjust the setting for each.

CHANGE THE STIM LEVEL RANGE

From the home menu, use the arrow pad to highlight “SETTINGS”, then press Enter to select.

Select GENERAL, then arrow down to STIM LEVELS and press Enter.

Enter a number 1-99 to set the number of static stimulation levels.

The number of levels will determine how much the intensity of stimulation changes between each level. The intensity of the highest level is the same regardless of how many levels are set. For example, level 20 out of 20 will be the same intensity as level 99 of 99.

Setting fewer levels will mean a greater change in stimulation between levels due to fewer steps from the lowest level to the highest level. The more levels, the more steps between the lowest and highest intensities.
