HOW TO CHANGE THE BATTERY IN MY CABELA'S® GUN DOG® GS-NB6 BARK COLLAR
Once the unit is powered on, and after 4 seconds, the unit will flash indicating the battery status. The table above summarizes the Indicator Light colors and their corresponding meanings. Replace the battery when you see the low battery status.
Remove both screws from the back of the collar using the 3/32 hex key provided in your box.
Pull the front and the back of the collar apart at the seam.
Remove the current battery.
Install a new 6-volt battery aligned with the battery icon printed on the inside of the unit.
Pull the front and back of the collar together and tighten the screws into the collar with the hex key.
Be careful not to fasten the screws too tight as this can damage the collar.
