SportDOG Brand® NoBark SBC-10 :: How to Change the Mode

Your SPORTDOG® SBC-10 collar has 2 modes of operation and a test mode. Each mode is represented by the following Indicator Light colors:

  • Green - Progressive Mode
  • Blue - User-Select Mode
  • Red - Test Mode

HOW TO CHANGE MODES

Make sure the unit is off by confirming there are no lights after 5 seconds.

Press and hold the power button. As the collar powers on, it will beep and flash green or blue depending on the current mode, then stop flashing. CONTINUE TO HOLD until the collar flashes again with no beeps.

Press and release the power button within 5 seconds to cycle through the modes, indicated by the color of the flashing light.

  • Green - Progressive Mode
  • Blue - User-Select Mode
  • Red - Test Mode

To make sure the correct mode was selected, turn the collar back on by pressing and releasing the power button. The collar will flash green for Progressive mode. If this does not happen, repeat steps 1-5.

Wait 5 seconds after you see the blue flashes to save your mode selection. The light will temporarily turn off to save the mode selection and then flash/beep to indicate the current level.

Press and release the power button to cycle through the levels. Each level is indicated by a number of flashes or beeps.

  • For example, 4 flashes or beeps represent Level 4.

After you see the desired level, wait for 5 seconds to save your selection.

  • If you pass your desired level, the collar will cycle through all 10 levels and will return to level 1 after 10.

To make sure the correct mode was selected, turn the collar back on by pressing and releasing the power button. The collar will flash blue for User-Select mode. You can also count the number of flashes to confirm the intensity level. If this does not happen, repeat steps 1-7.
