HOW TO CHANGE THE RUBBER COVER ON MY SPORTDOG® UPLANDHUNTER® BEEPER
Your beeper is still 100% waterproof without the rubber covers. However, they do help keep mud and debris from getting in your charge port and prevent damage to the charging system.
If you don’t already have the replacement cover, you can purchase it here. This kit will come with the hex key needed to replace the charge port cover.
Remove the screw from the top of the beeper with the provided hex key.
Remove any rubber pieces left. Even if your cover is missing, you should still check for any remnants.
Replace with the new rubber cover and reinsert the screw.
