HOW TO PAIR ADDITIONAL SPORTDOG® COLLARS TO MY PROHUNTER® 2525 HANHELD
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- For the use of 2 dogs on your handheld, you will use the toggle to quickly switch between Dog 1 (UP) and Dog 2 (DOWN).
- For the use of 3-6 dogs on your handheld, you will first need to set the handheld to a multiple-dog mode.

2 DOGS ONLY
Switch to Dog 2 by flipping the toggle switch to the Down position.
Ensure the collar you want to pair is off by confirming there are no lights after 10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button on the collar. The Indicator Light will turn green. Continue to hold until the light goes out, then release the power button.
Press and hold the top button on the handheld until you see the collar Indicator Light flash green 5 times. The collar is now paired.
Use the toggle to quickly switch between Dog 1 (UP) and Dog 2 (DOWN)
3-6 DOGS
Before beginning the pairing process, you will need to program the handheld to one of the multiple-dog modes. For more information on the multiple-dog modes, go to PROHUNTER® 2525 MODES EXPLAINED.
After changing to a multiple-dog mode, each button on your handheld will now control one collar.
If you are pairing less than 6 collars, you may decide the toggle switch position and button programming for each collar. For example, if you are pairing 4 collars, you may have two collars with the toggle switch UP and the other two collars with the toggle switch DOWN. Any buttons without a paired collar will have no function.
Set the toggle switch to the desired position.
Ensure the collar you want to pair is off by confirming there are no lights after 10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button on the collar. The Indicator Light will turn green. Continue to hold until the light goes out, then release the power button.
Press and hold the button on the handheld that you would like the collar to be paired with until you see the collar Indicator Light flash green 5 times. The collar is now paired.
Repeat these steps for the additional collars. Be sure to pair each collar to a separate button on the handheld.
TEST THE PAIRING
Turn the Intensity Dial to any number.
Press the button that corresponds with a paired collar. Be careful not to touch the contact points to avoid feeling the stimulation. The corresponding collar’s Indicator Light will illuminate red.
If there is no red light, repeat the pairing process.
