HOW TO POWER YOUR SPORTDOG® LOCATOR BEACON ON AND OFF
Place 2 CR-2032 Lithium coin-cell batteries into the lens of the beacon positive (+) side up.
Place the base of the beacon on top of the lens. The positive sides of the batteries will be going into the base of the beacon. Twist the lens 45 degrees and the lens is secured in place.
The power button on the beacon may have a high side as seen highlighted in the image.
Power the beacon on by pressing and holding the power button from the low side of the button for 2 seconds and release.
Do not power the unit on and off by loosening the colored lens. This will break the seal down and the lens will eventually no longer stay in place.
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to switch the light mode between flashing and solid.
To power the light off, press and hold the power button for 6 seconds and release.
