How To Replace Your Collar's Mud Flap

· Your collar is still 100% waterproof without the rubber cover. However, they do help keep mud and debris from getting in your charge port and prevent damage to the charging system.

Remove both screws from the back of the collar with a ³/₃₂ hex key.

Pull the front and the back of the collar apart at the seam allowing the strap to slide through the side slots.

Locate the slot for the rubber cover, and remove any pieces left. Even if your mudflap is missing, you should still check for any remnants.

Slide the T-shaped tab of the rubber cover into the slot on the collar.

Put the back and front of the collar back together, reinsert the screws and hand-tighten them with the ³/₃₂ hex key.
Be careful not to fasten the screws too tight as this can damage the collar.
