HOW TO TEST YOUR BOUNDARY ON THE CABELA’S® GUNDOG IN-GROUND FENCE™

Start by confirming power on the transmitter and setting the distance to 10 feet.

Turn on your collar and on level 2 or higher. To learn more about which level you’re on and how to change it, visit HOW TO CHANGE CORRECTION LEVELS.

Place the Test Light Tool wires on the contact points of the collar.

Be careful not to touch the contact points so you will not receive a static correction.

Hold the collar receiver at your dog’s neck height.

Starting inside the boundary area, approach your boundary wire slowly until the collar issues a static correction and the Test Light Tool flashes.

You may feel a vibration or hear a tone when approaching the boundary wire. This is normal and means you are in the warning zone.

If you are in the correction zone longer than 15 seconds at a time, the collar will time out. Walk several feet back into the safe zone to reset it.
