MY DOG DOESN’T RESPOND TO THE SPORTDOG® SPORTHUNTER® 1825X
Before troubleshooting, remove the collar from your dog.
Make sure the toggle switch is in the correct position.
Ensure that both the remote transmitter and collar receiver are fully charged, and the collar is powered on.
- If fully charged and powered on, the collar receiver should blink green every 5 seconds, and the remote transmitter’s indicator light will illuminate green when a button is pressed.
- For more information on charging, visit HOW TO CHARGE YOUR SPORTDOG® TRAINER.
Ensure that both contact points on your collar receiver are hand-tight.
Verify that your remote transmitter and collar receiver are paired.
- To confirm this, rotate your dial to any number and press the stimulation button used for that collar. The collar receiver’s indicator light will light up a solid red while the button is being pressed.
- If the collar doesn’t light up, please pair your remote transmitter and collar receiver. You can learn how to do that by referring to HOW TO PAIR THE SPORTDOG® SPORTHUNTER® 1825X REMOTE TRANSMITTER AND COLLAR.
Ensure PROPER FIT.
