Make sure your wall transmitter is powered on and does not have a wire break icon.

Verify your collar is set to a level higher than 1. Level 1 is a tone-only level and will not deliver a static correction. For help checking and changing the levels, visit HOW DO I CHANGE THE CORRECTION LEVEL ON CABELA’S CONTAINMENT FENCE COLLAR?

Verify that the collar is responding to the boundary. Visit HOW TO TEST YOUR BOUNDARY for more information.

Perform a Systems Test. For instructions on how to perform the Short Loop Test, visit HOW TO DO A SYSTEMS TEST ON YOUR CABELA’S CONTAINMENT SYSTEM.

If the system functions normally on the test, continue to step 5.

Ensure the collar fits correctly on your pet. Improper fit can cause the pet not to feel the correction. Visit HOW TO FIT THE CABELA’S CONTAINMENT COLLAR ON YOUR DOG for more information on fit.

If your pet builds a tolerance to the correction level used, his recognition level may have changed. Increase the static correction by one level and see how he responds. For help identifying his recognition level, visit HOW TO FIND MY DOG’S RECOGNITION LEVEL ON THE CABELA’S® GUNDOG IN-GROUND FENCE™.
