My SportDOG® 825X Isn’t Getting the Expected Range
Important: Depending on the way you hold the remote, the maximum range may vary. For consistent results at longer ranges, hold the remote straight above your head. Terrain, weather, vegetation, transmission from other radio devices, and other factors may also affect the maximum range.
Make sure both units are fully charged.

Check for damage on the remote antenna and ensure it is hand-tight.

Confirm the remote and collar are paired.

Test the range.
