MY SPORTDOG® SPORTHUNTER® 1225 HANDHELD OR COLLAR BATTERY DOESN’T LAST

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Depending on the frequency of use, the remote handheld and collar have a charge life of approximately 40-60 hours.
• The batteries have a life of approximately 3-5 years.

GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BATTERY

• Turn your collar off between charges to preserve your battery.
• Charge your units once a month if you need to store them for long periods of time.
• Only charge the handheld and collar when you see the low battery indicator. Frequently charging the handheld or collar before the battery is low can shorten the battery life.

REPLACE THE BATTERY

If you are still experiencing reduced charge life, your battery needs to be replaced. You can purchase a new battery for your collar or remote handheld.

COLLAR

• If you have the model number SDT00-15944 on the back of your collar, you can purchase a replacement battery here.
• If the model number on the back of your collar is SR-300 or SDT00-12490, you can purchase a replacement battery here.
