WHAT DOES THE HEALTH ALERT ON MY SPORTDOG® FIELDSENTINEL™ MEAN?

HEALTH ALERT

ImageImage

When the health sensor on the collar detects your dog’s vitals have reached the threshold, you will receive an alert on your handheld.

When there is an alert, the Health Alert LED at the base of your handheld’s antenna begins flashing and the handheld beeps and vibrates.

The Health Alert LED will flash RED for Dog 1 and GREEN for Dog 2 (if you have paired an additional collar).

NOTE: Alerts are transmitted to the Handheld via radio frequency. If your dog is beyond signal range from the Handheld or within field conditions where signal is reduced or disrupted, alerts may not be properly transmitted.

WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE IS AN ALERT

Go to assist your dog. Put eyes on your dog and observe him. Give him a break.

SILENCE THE ALERT

You may choose to silence the alert on the Handheld. The tone and vibration will stop, but the Alert LED will continue to flash until your dog’s vitals return to normal.

To silence the alert, quickly press and release the power button on the Handheld.

If you accidentally turn off the Handheld, simply turn back on. You will not need to wait the 5-minute period. When your dog’s vitals return to a normal state, the alert will automatically turn off.
